I hope you're all well! I hope you've all been able to find something to enjoy the last two weeks! I've appreciated having extra time for walks and reading. I've also been working to get us access to e-books, and I hope to have more news about that later in the week!
In the mean time, we're going to try checking out physical library books to students. If you're interested in checking out library books from the school library, complete the Book Check Out Form found on the Destiny Home page for Black Earth. Complete the form by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1. On Thursday, we'll be pulling those books off the shelves and preparing them for our next materials pick up.
I've sent packets of materials home with students. Please know that I don't expect 1st and 2nd grade students to complete all of this in a week. It would take me 2-3 weeks to get them through these projects in class, and I know that this is an adjustment for everyone.
